Thanks

Thank you to all of our volunteers who have pledged their time and thank you to all of those who have supported us financially! Without all of you, the work that we do would be impossible. We need all of our volunteers to help complete the work for the families we serve. All of our financial supporters are incredibly important to the success of our trip. Your donations go to supporting our volunteers, our families in need and purchasing supplies for our construction projects.

About Us

For many of us, it may be hard to imagine living without a warm bed, without food on the table, or a dry roof over our head. For some of the families that we serve, these are things that they just simply can not afford. Working in central Appalachia, one of the countries poorest areas, the Timonium United Methodist Church works with the service organization ASP (Appalachia Service Project). We work to support ASP's mission to eradicate substandard housing in central Appalachia.

Every year, we take a group of volunteers to ASP to make home homes warmer, safer, and drier. We work to make our volunteers step out of their comfort zones, build relationships with the families we serve, learn a little construction skills, build teamwork and leadership skills, and make new, life-long friends.
